Dear colleagues, I have three 3-year postdoc positions available at the newly established research chair "Model-Based Environmental Exposure Science" at the University of Augsburg, Germany. We are part of the research focus "Environmental Health Sciences" of the Faculty of Medicine, working at the nexus of Medicine, Geography and Computer Science. The positions cover a wide range of topics: from global and regional health impact assessments, urban-scale pollution dispersion modelling to developing models to understand the health impacts of the exposure to environmental factors on single individuals. All projects will be done in collaboration with a range of national and international partners. Augsburg is located in the south of Germany, in commuting distance to Munich, and close enough to the Alps to facilitate frequent hiking, climbing or skiing trips (once the pandemic is over). The application deadline for all positions is February 28th, with a starting date as soon as possible thereafter. We strive to create an international work environment, hence command of the German language is appreciated but not mandatory. More details for each position can be found in the job offers below.
