Dear all, We kindly ask you to pass along this advertisement to students and postdocs that may be interested in joining us at the Research Centre Jülich, in Germany. We are looking to recruit a Research scientist / Post-Doc (f/m) in applied hydrological sciences to work within the DFG Research Unit RealPEP, which aims to advance probabilistic flash flood nowcasts by improving precipitation nowcasting products and hydrological modelling approaches. The successful candidate will set up flood forecasting experiments using newly developed precipitation products, applying advanced hydrologic modelling and data assimilation technologies in supercomputing environments.
