If you know any recent Ph.D graduates who might be interested to apply for this position, please send it to them. ====================== Post-Doctoral Research Fellow – Astrophysics - Atmosphere/Climate interrelated studies NASSP (National Astrophysics and Space Science Programme) at UKZN is looking for recent Doctoral degree students to pursue research study on Astrophysics - Atmosphere/Climate interrelated studies. It is to address the impacts of astrophysical events to neutral atmosphere (includes during solar eclipse, lunar eclipse, etc..). The study may use Satellite observations, ground based observations and public available telescope datasets.
The ground based observations include LiDAR, Sun-Photometer, Radar and other remote sensing data available. The current interest is also to relate the impact of Aerosol/Cloud/atmospheric parameters on Astronomical observations.
The applicants have to be highly self-motivated, capability to use satellite and ground based data sets, creative and excellent written communication skills.
