Sydney-based Consultant Meteorologist

MetraWeather is a subsidiary company of MetService New Zealand. Backed by meteorological expertise, technical innovation and operational excellence MetraWeather knows weather like no-one else – and our purpose is to create ways to help you turn this knowledge into better business decisions and great commercial outcomes.

We are currently looking for for a Consultant Meteorologist in our Australian office in Sydney.

As a Consultant Meteorologist, you’ll have the opportunity to combine your knowledge of the weather with the impacts it has on key customers.  Key to this role is the ability to communicate well, be adaptable and collaborative in your approach, and to be resilient under pressure. Travel within Australia and shift work will be required.

Why join us?  We are a group who enjoys achieving, appreciates creativity and recognises everyone’s unique skills and qualities. Beyond this, our consultants are enabled to operate effectively remotely, ensuring continuity of service to our customers and providing safety and security for our staff during the Covid-19 pandemic. This allows us to deliver services that really make a difference for our customers. You’d be joining a truly global business with a diverse and energetic crew of creative achievers and innovators, passionate about connecting the science of weather with people in everyday life.
