Hi all,

I’d like to bring your attention to the new Stanford Science Fellows program. It’s a postdoctoral fellowship in the natural sciences in any relevant department/unit at Stanford University. I welcome anyone interested in severe weather and climate to consider applying to the program to work in my group ( The fellowship emphasizes intellectual freedom and independence, and is long enough for people to tackle really complex problems.

Fellowship website: with details about eligibility and how to apply. The application deadline is October 15th, 2020.

If interested, please contact me in advance so that we can discuss potential research projects ( The fellowship is for 3 years with an annual stipend of $83,000, benefits and up to $8,000 for research expenses.

Take care,

Morgan E O’Neill, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor

Dept. of Earth System Science

Stanford University
