Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Atmospheric Sciences

The George Mason University, Center for Spatial Information Science and Systems (CSISS) in collaboration with the Satellite Earth System Studies (CISESS) Program and NOAA’s Air Resources Laboratory invites applications for 2 Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions to work with the Chemical Modeling & Emissions group at ARL in the NOAA Center for Weather & Climate Prediction (NCWCP) in College Park, MD.

Responsibilities:

The 2 incumbents will perform research related to weather and air quality forecasting and possess a broad range of knowledge and skills including atmospheric chemistry modeling, emission science, high performance computing, air quality data analysis and model evaluation, machine learning technologies, satellite data analysis and superior communication abilities.
