Positions: 
Assistant/Associate/Full professor/Researcher Scientist/Postdoc

We are looking for 2-3 faculties or Postdoc in the field of 1) atmospheric chemistry (observation or modeling); 2) analytical chemistry (e.g., IRMS, GC/LC/MS); 3) environmental geochemistry. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline by the date of the appointment; provide evidence of independent research capabilities in one of the research areas mentioned above. Corresponding salary and support

250,000 to 800,000 RMB (about 35 000 to 11 5000 USD) annual-salary; 400,000 to 600,000 RMB settling-in allowance will be provided;100,000 to 300,000 RMB start-up fund, as well as two-year house-renting allowance will also be provided.

 

Institutional and group profile:
Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology (NUIST) was founded in 1960 and renamed from Nanjing Institute of Meteorology in 2004. It is a national first-tier university. It has 24 departments or colleges, 12 scientific research institutions and one international training center. The academic level on atmospheric science ranks the top in China. It also has various programs for master and doctor degrees. The university is located in Nanjing, eastern China, about 80 minutes from Shanghai by train. It covers an area of 140 hectares with a floor space of 420,000 square meters. Currently, there are 18,000 students and over 1,300 faculty members on the campus. For details see:

The research of the Yanlin group focuses on atmospheric environment and aerosol chemistry as well as the development and application of stable isotope (12C, 13C, 15N and14N) and radiocarbon (14C) for bulk and compound specific analysis of aerosols. Yanlin’s research interest in general is to improve our understanding of the composition, source and formation process of atmospheric aerosols. He has contributed to over 70 peer-reviewed publications, including publications in Nature, Environmental Science and Technology and Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics. For details see:
