Postdoctoral Research Position: Tropospheric Dynamics and Transport

 

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a post-doctoral research position in tropospheric dynamics and transport. The successful candidate will participate in NSF and NASA funded projects to examine large-scale tropospheric transport, involving a a combination of idealized and realistic model simulations and analysis of trace-gas measurements. An ideal candidate will be a creative independent thinker with a Ph.D. in atmospheric science or related fields. Experience with global atmospheric models is advantageous.

 

Funding is available for one year, with possibility of renewal for up to two additional years. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, however, to ensure full consideration, applications should be submitted by April 1st, 2020.
