We are looking for a motivated student for a PhD project funded by the French Space Agency CNES (starting in September/October 2020), at the Laboratoire d'Optique Atmosphérique in the cosmopolitan city of Lille (France), at about one hour from three
European capitals: Brussels, London and Paris:
"Satellite and ground-based remote sensing of volcanic aerosols: impacts on air quality, aviation safety and climate"
A master degree in remote sensing/atmospheric sciences/geophysics or physics is expected.
