Dear all, 
We have several staff positions (the number upon the competent applicants) open 
at professor and associate professor levels at School of Atmospheric Sciences, 
Sun Yat-Sen University Zhuhai Campus, Zhuhai, China, on Ocean and Climate 
Dynamics, with particular focus on multi-scale ocean-atmosphere interaction, 
extreme marine and climate events, oceanic variability and response to 
anthropogenic forcing. 
Highly motivated candidates with outstanding academic records and excellent 
leadership to explore the integral frontier of ocean, atmosphere and earth 
science research are mostly welcome. They are expected to be full of team 
spirits, ready to help the early career scientists to develop their future, 
very capable of supervising the PhD students and good capability of teaching 
courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students. 
Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) is one of the top universities in China, with the 
history dating back to its establishment in 1924 by the Great Doctor and 
"Father of the Nation” Sun Yat-Sen.  SYSU has 5 campus in Guangzhou, Zhuhai and 
Shenzhen. SYSU Zhuhai Campus mainly focuses on the earth sciences. SYSU's 
School of Atmospheric Sciences is one fast developing center of excellence for 
atmosphere, ocean and climate education and research.
