[Met-jobs] Permanent researcher position in coupled ice sheet - climate modelling (Bergen, Norway)

Dear colleagues,

We have a permanent researcher position available in the field of ice sheet and climate modeling at NORCE Climate and the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research. 

The main task will be to further develop, improve and analyze the coupling of the Norwegian Earth System Model (NorESM) with an ice sheet model (currently CISM). Scientifically, the initial focus is on the interactions between the atmosphere (surface mass balance, atmospheric circulation, clouds) and the Greenland ice sheet.

We are looking for an excellent candidate with a background in (coupled) climate and ice sheet modelling. A PhD is required, or at least the doctoral thesis needs to have been submitted.
