Title: Toward a better understanding of the lifecycle of Pesticides in the Atmosphere
Details: Pesticides are widely used throughout the world and are essential components in the efficient production of food. However, their atmospheric cycles and transport pathways remain poorly understood. This PhD will use a range of advanced aerosol tools and techniques to constrain atmospheric behaviour, combining both laboratory and field studies.
This project is in partnership with Syngenta and is part of the EPSRC Aerosol CDT. The CDT is multi-disciplinary and encourages students with academic background in any of the following disciplines: chemistry, physics, biological sciences, life and medical sciences, mathematics and computer science, chemical and mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical and environmental sciences.
