The call for applications to the MSc Programme in Environmental Meteorology, jointly offered by the University of Trento (Italy) and the University of Innsbruck (Austria), is now open for admission to the academic year 2020/2021.

The MSc Programme covers a variety of subjects on environmental processes, and aims at preparing graduates to providing meteorological support for a series of activities connected to the management and planning of environmental systems and resources.

Students’ activities within the MSc Programme consist of lectures, class/lab practice, field activities, seminars as well as visits to weather services, environmental agencies or other initiatives, and possible internships.

Courses of the first year are held in Trento.
Courses of the first semester of the second year are held in Innsbruck.
The fourth semester (second semester of the second year) is free of courses, to allow students working on their master thesis. This activity may be performed either in Trento or in Innsbruck, upon agreement with the supervisor.

Students fulfilling all the requirements prescribed in the curriculum will be awarded:
- the degree of “Master of Science” from the University of Innsbruck, 
- the degree “Laurea magistrale in Environmental Meteorology” from the University of Trento.

Admission is limited to a maximum of 30 students.
Selection is based on candidates' curricula, motivation letters and interviews. 

Timeframes for application submission:
- From 21 November  2019 until 20 February 2020, 12.00 (GMT+1) for non-EU citizens living abroad and Italian, EU-citizens and non-EU citizens regularly living in Italy at the time of application
From 31 March 2020 until 30 June 2020, 12.00 (GMT+1) only for Italian citizens, EU-citizens and non-EU citizens already living in Italy at the time of application.
