The performance of this mailing list has been degraded recently
and this has been determined to be due to the large number of bounced emails,
i.e. emails that are 'returned to sender'.
Consequently, I am introducing more stringent checking of bounced messages
that will result in email addresses being removed from the list once 2-3 emails
have been bounced back from that address.
Reasons for bounces may be that
* met-jobs is not a recognised sender insofar as your email settings are concerned
* your email settings/provider prevents more than a small number of emails
from being received from the list each day - in this case you might like to resubscribe
in 'digest mode' - multiple adverts are combined into a single daily email.
If your email is removed from the list you may re-subscribe if you wish, while
adverts can also be seen in the archive pages - e.g.
without a subscription being required.
