Three postdoc positions at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
The Atmospheric Sciences and Global Change Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) seeks a motivated postdoctoral research associates that will contribute to our Integrated Cloud, Land-surface, and Aerosol System Study (ICLASS) project team supported by the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Atmospheric System Research (ASR) program (see https://asr.science.energy.gov for more information). We currently have three positions available in:
1) land-atmosphere-cloud interactions (job ID, 309934),
2) convective cloud populations (job ID 309938), and
3) secondary organic aerosol (job ID, 309939).
The selected candidates are expected to discover new scientific insights on these atmospheric processes in mid-latitude and tropical environments. Our ultimate goal of this research is to not only improve our physical understanding of key processes but to translate that knowledge into new model treatments. We also expect candidates to define their own research objectives and strategy that launches their careers.
Additional information about the specific positions and how to apply can be found at https://www.pnnl.gov/careers by searching the appropriate job ID. Please include a cover letter stating your research interests attached to your CV.
