Postdoctoral Fellow in Aerosol–Cloud–Climate Interactions within the H2020-funded project FORCeS

The Department of Meteorology (MISU) at Stockholm University is offering a position for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Aerosol–Cloud–Climate Interactions. The overarching goal of the post-doc project is to investigate how an aerosol perturbation propagates to large-scale cloud and climate variables via cloud microphysical properties, and based on this knowledge improve the description of relevant microphysical and dynamical processes in a general circulation model.

This is a full-time employment for two years. The position will be associated with the Horizon2020-funded project FORCeS (Constrained aerosol forcing for improved climate projections). FORCeS strives towards reducing the uncertainty in anthropogenic aerosol forcing, which is crucial for determining the actions needed to reach the Paris Agreement. Stockholm University is coordinating the project, which is a collaboration between 20 European partners.
