A Postdoc position is available at Laboratoire de Meteorologie Dynamique (LMD), Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris, in the field of abrupt transitions evidenced in paleoclimatic records. The candidate will further develop the methodology of bifurcation theory and apply it to climate change on several time scales under the supervision of Michael Ghil and Denis-Didier Rousseau.

The successful candidates will be part of the EU-funded H2020 project “Tipping Points in the Earth System” (TiPES)

The positions will start September 1st 2019 and is funded for 2 years.
