|Laboratoire d'Optique atmospherique (LOA) and Laboratoire de Physique et chimie des processus de combustion et de l'atmosphere (PC2A) of CNRS and University Lille, in collaboration with university of Gent, are seeking one graduate student to conduct Ph.D. Thesis study to explore the link between indoor and outdoor pollution. The French Ph.D system has a duration of three years.|
Potential research topics include (but are not limited to): gaseous and particulate pollutants, detailed physical and chemical processes through outdoor to indoor transfert; the evolution of aerosol properties using mini sensors, occupancy and activities, ventilation systems and impact on health and performances.
A solid master-degree training in atmospheric sciences or related areas, or in data science, good communication skills, and strong intellectual curiosity are required. Familiarity with computer program with languages such as Python, Matlab, R etc is desired.
