The applicant will be hired to contribute analyses about the predictability of weather patterns within the context of the MINECO project CLINSA and the H2020 project EUCP.

One of the key duties is to perform analyses of weather types in existing climate model simulations to quantify the predictability of weather types, and compare predictability from initialisation of decadal predictions to predictability from external forcing. Another key duty is to prepare a report to document the results.
