We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to work on a project entitled "Modelling the life history and dispersal of the alien seaweed Sargassum muticum in Scottish coastal waters" in the Marine Population Modelling group, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Strathclyde, located in Glasgow, UK.

This project is jointly funded by the Scottish Universities Partnership for Environmental Research Doctoral Training Partnership (SUPER DTP) and University of Strathclyde. Unfortunately, due to funding policy, this full studentship is mostly for UK students. EU (non-UK) students will be considered only under exceptional circumstances (please refer to the detailed conditions outlined in the attachment).
