Dear All,

There are up to 4 years PDRA funding available to work on the NERC-funded project V-PLUS at the University of Manchester School of Earth and Environmental Science, in collaboration with the University of Manchester School of Maths, Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Cardiff and MetOffice.

Main tasks are to integrate eruption column, umbrella cloud and plume dispersion models, and to calculate SO2 flux time series from back-trajectory and plume dispersion modelling applied to TROPOMI satellite imagery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in plume dispersion modelling / eruption column modelling.

Deadline is 10 February, start date as soon as possible thereafter.

Please email me for further details,
