Job listing: Part Time Research Scientist - Climate Impact on Buildings design/efficiency and adaptation


ClimateAI is a mission driven for-profit venture, currently in stealth mode, trying to mobilize CEOs of Fortune 500 companies and their investors to make more responsible decisions. We use AI to predict the risk of Climate Change on specific assets and use this info to help design climate resilient strategies for CEOs and Investors. The company was founded at Stanford University and one of the founders has worked with Vice President Al Gore. We are a young start up, looking for passionate engineers/scientists who can contribute to the solutions to the most important issue of our generation. We have an opening for a Research Scientist to work at the intersection of the fields of building design assessment and climate change impacts.

The researcher will work on designing, testing, and deploying a system for assessing impacts of climate change on building design, energy efficiency programs and coming with adaptation solutions to mitigate them.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on open ended projects with a small team in a fast paced environment. We hire people who are collaborative, adaptable and communicate well. You will be working closely with other data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to improve
and create products. Expect to give and receive constructive criticism as we are constantly reevaluating our hypotheses and our products. While we are interested in all qualified applicants, the position is well suited for someone with 0-5 years of experience post PhD.

Compensation: Aligned with the best standards of Silicon Valley for cash
Location : Part Time Remote
