Hello,

There is an opening for a Ph.D. student at the CNRM, the research institute of Météo-France in Toulouse. We are looking for a motivated young scientist to work on the quantification of the impacts of forest cover changes on the climate of temperate regions using 40 years of satellite observations.

The candidate will join a research group with a strong background in spatial remote sensing, monitoring of continental surfaces and aerosols, and climate.

Duration of the position is 3 years. Starting date will be as soon as a good candidate is found. More information on the PhD opportunity is found in the attached files.

Please spread the word and apologies for cross-posting.

Regards,

----- Météo-France -----
