The Department of the Geophysical Sciences at The University of Chicago invites applications for the Provost's Fellowship. This funding program supports junior scientists from diverse backgrounds, including groups historically underrepresented in Earth and Planetary Sciences, such as women, Black/African-American, Native American, and Hispanic/Latino scholars. The successful candidate will be appointed as a Provost's Fellow for a three-year term, during which they will be able to pursue their independent research interests under the mentorship of the departmental faculty. The Fellow will automatically be considered for promotion to a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment in the department at the end of the fellowship period. Click the link above to see more and find out how to apply.
