Title: Postdoctoral Researcher - Hydrology and Streamflow ReconstructionApplications are invited for a postdoctoral researcher position in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering at The Ohio State University (OSU). The successful candidate will work in the Stagge research group (http://www.jstagge.com), conducting research in the broad area of hydrology and historical streamflow reconstruction. This position contributes to developing new statistical approaches for reconstructing monthly or seasonal flows from tree-rings with a focus on water resources applications; testing the robustness of flow disaggregation schemes; comparing reconstructed drought risk to projected climate change; or other topics of interest related to hydrology and historical streamflow reconstruction.
Required: - Ph.D in Civil Engineering, physical geography or closely related fields - Strong written and oral communication skills - Proven record of high productivity Desired Skills:- Experience in hydrology and statistics, flow extremes, stochastic streamflow approaches, or paleoclimate reconstruction preferred
