Position: Intern at the Climate Prediction and Adaptation Branch (CLPA)
Duty Station: Geneva

Term: Full-time position for 4 months
Experience Requirements: Ongoing enrollment in a Masterâ??s degree or Ph.D. programme. The Intern should have a strong knowledge in a field relevant to environment (environmental sciences, environmental policy) and climate change, with solid research and analytical skills. The applicant should have been exposed to basic project and/or knowledge management. Preference in demonstrated experience with preparing clear, compelling, and high-quality reports and presentations. Fluency in both written and spoken English with excellent writing skills. Proficiency in French will be considered an asset. The intern will be required to support WMO interagency policy agenda and joint action in the context of the UNFCCC as well as to facilitate core required WMO Secretariat functions. Please note that WMO internships are non-remuneratedÂ and WMO will not engage in signing internship agreements with universities or sponsoring agencies.
