[Met-jobs] Postdoc on palaeoclimate & environmental reconstruction (Heidelberg/Germany)

A postdoctoral position is available within the research project "State
and timescale-dependency of past climate variability from the last
Glacial to present day" funded by the Emmy Noether programme of the
German Research Foundation.

The successful candidate will develop a multi-proxy inverse modeling
framework to derive palaeoclimate constraints on the amplitudes of past
climatic and environmental changes.

You have, or are close to obtaining, a PhD in the field of physics,
mathematics, environmental and geophysical sciences. You have experience
in statistics, numerical techniques, programming skills, and a strong
motivation to carry out research in an interdisciplinary team.
