(ISSAOS) 2018
CLIMATE CHANGES: REGIONAL MODELING, DATA ANALYSIS AND UNCERTAINTIES
27 - 31 August 2018 L'Aquila, Italy

Second announcement: general information – Early-bird registration within July 
15th, 2018


The 13th edition of the International Summer School on Atmospheric and Oceanic 
Sciences (ISSAOS 2018), has been organized by the CETEMPS, University of 
L'Aquila.

ISSAOS-2018 will review the current status of climate modeling and analysis, 
including practical activities.


The ISSAOS-2018 will provide a series of lectures on the following topics:

    Global Change
    Climate change impacts
    Climate change uncertainties
    Regional climate modeling
    Climate impact on hydrology
    Climate data analysis


The participants will benefit of the guidance of highly qualified senior 
lecturers:

    Prof. Jens Hesselbjerg Christensen, University of Copenhagen, DK
    Prof. Martin Drews, Technical University of Denmark, DK
    Prof. Markku Rummukainen, University of Lund, SE
    Dr. Erika Coppola, International Centre for Theoretical Physics ICTP, IT
    Dr. Malissa Bukovski, National Center for Atmospheric Research NCAR, USA
    Dr. Tim Carter, Finnish Environment Institute SYKE, FI
    Dr. Stefan Fronzek, Finnish Environment Institute SYKE, FI
    Dr. Eleanor Blyth, Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, UK

There will be wide opportunities for interdisciplinary approaches to facilitate 
the communications and scientific exchanges among the lecturers and the 
participants, in order to enhance the coordination of specific scientific 
efforts and advocate for a common view of major scientific needs and priority 
areas for the future.

A guided tour and other social activities are also scheduled.
