A vacancy has arisen for a freelance forecaster to work with Weather Consultancy Services Ltd (WCS).

A growing yet small and friendly company, WCS is responsible for Weatherweb.net and Weather School.

Working from your home ( or if you prefer, WCS offices in Wombourne, South Staffordshire) your role will be to provide weather forecasts to a variety of clients in the UK and overseas. You will also give telephone briefings and will record videos (audio only) for broadcast at Weatherweb.net

Proven skills in writing and communication are essential and experience of forecasting is welcome, although training can and will be given.

The successful candidate will be required to work weekends and some week days, although these days are flexible. We anticipate that you will be working 8 to 15 days per month to suit your requirements.

The post will suit those new to forecasting and who wish to gain experience, or for experienced forecasters looking for a better work-life balance and to whom home-working is attractive.

For more information please email your details to simon@weatherweb.net
