We are looking for a candidate for an employment of Agri-Risk modeler at RMS, Noida, India. The details are as follows.

Agriculture Risk Modeller

Model Development/Modeling  Noida, India

Summary: RMS is currently recruiting for an Agriculture Risk Modeler to join our growing agriculture risk modelling team responsible for creating models and content for our agriculture risk modelling software platform.

Department: RMS has more than 30 years of experience building natural catastrophe models for property and casualty market. The model development team boasts a team of about 100 scientists building mathematical models that predict the distributions of possible damage due to the effects of earthquakes, tropical storms, extra-tropical storms, thunderstorms, storm-surge and floods, using a combination of observed data, reanalysis data, numerical and statistical models and data assimilation. RMS is the pioneer on the development and application of complex statistical and numerical modelling methods for the quantification of natural hazard risk. RMS’ risk models are the most detailed and comprehensive models of natural catastrophes produced anywhere in the world. Our clients include several hundred insurance and reinsurance companies as well as brokers, banks, hedge funds, regional and local governments, and multilateral agencies. RMS has been investing huge amount of resources to expand in the agricultural risk insurance space to build products including multiple peril crop insurance, named peril, revenue cover and parametric insurance for crops, livestock and forestry in the biggest markets worldwide such as China, India and Brazil. The agriculture risk modelling team responsible for building the agriculture risk models is part of the model development business unit.
