The position is funded by Croatian Science Foundation. We are looking for a motivated young scientist from the field of geosciences (possibly mathematics or computer sciences) to work on the research of high-frequency sea level oscillations, with a following to-do list:1. 2. Extraction, statistics and contribution of high-frequency sea level oscillations to overall sea levels,
3. Extreme events and their
connection to synoptic processes,
The position will include the engagement in doctoral study of geophysics/oceanography at the University of Zagreb, Croatia.
candidate will join one of
the leading world groups when it comes to research of high
frequency sea level
oscillations (with emphasis on meteotsunamis). Group members
