The World Energy & Meteorology Council (WEMC, http://www.wemcouncil.org/wp/) is
very pleased to announce the opening of a Technical/ Web Services Developer
role. Do you have a strong technical background and enjoy developing highly
visible and eye-catching, user-friendly web-based graphical tools based on
historical and real-time data? Do you like to explore how such web-based tools
can be harnessed to improve both business and research? This job will see you
analysing requirements, proposing and developing solutions, conducting
technical development and analyses.

You will be responsible for integrating the data provided by collaborators and
other climate and energy data providers such as the Transparency Platform of
the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E)
for energy and for maintaining, improving and updating a public version of the
Climate and Energy demonstrator developed by the Copernicus Climate Change
Service (C3S) European Climatic Energy Mixes (ECEM,
http://ecem.climate.copernicus.eu/, with demo at:
http://ecem.climate.copernicus.eu/demo. Familiarity with front-end technologies
is necessary as well. Technical and inter-personal skills are also required to
keep technical tools up and running in a dynamic work environment.

This is full time, initially two-year term, position. A part-time employment
may be considered too.
