· Analyze the pattern and size of neighborhood types (morphology, land cover, geometry, and structure), the properties of materials used and climatic data;
· Advance numerical simulations to analyze the impact of materials and microclimate on the zero emission energy balance at neighborhood scale;
· Elaborate the impact of microclimatic parameters and physical properties of the urban fabric on the energy performance of zero emission neighborhoods;
· Develop solutions for optimal environmental quality of the zero emission neighborhoods (by reducing their exposure to climate-related risks). Define countermeasures for the climate adaptation to enhance the transition to a low carbon society and support decisions of urban planning professionals
