One fully funded PhD studentship is available at the University of Leicester to commence in October 2018; this is competition-funded through the CENTA DTP.  This project is a CASE award with the National Centre for Earth Observation (NCEO), and involves an investigation of the chemical species released into the atmosphere from biomass burning using both satellite and model data.  More details can be found here:
