[Met-jobs] PhD project at the University of Sheffield

The Geography Department at the University of Sheffield is currently advertising for a PhD student to undertake research looking at whether coastal dunes systems can be used as archives of high magnitude historical storms which caused coastal flooding, and using historical archives to reconstruct storminess.

This project would be fully funded for a minimum of 3.5 years. The studentships covers a tax-free stipend (at least £14,553 per annum), research costs, and tuition fees at the UK/EU rate. It is open to UK and EU students who meet the UK residency requirements. Students from EU countries who do not meet residency requirements may still be eligible for a fees-only award.
