British Antarctic Survey/University of East Anglia: PhD studentship in
modelling polar boundary layer ozone.

We invite applications for a NERC PhD studentship on the topic of 'Impact of
blowing snow on polar ozone' available through the EnvEast NERC Centre for
Doctoral Training Partnership. A description of the project can be found via
the following links:

http://www.enveast.ac.uk/projects/2018-projects (reference ID: YANG_UBAS18EE)
or on the BAS webpage:
https://www.bas.ac.uk/science/science-and-students/nerc-doctoral-training-partnerships/2017-doctoral-training-projects/

The project will be mainly based at the British Antarctic Survey (supervisor
Dr. Xin Yang, co-supervisor Dr. Anna Jones), with time spent at the School of
Environmental Sciences, University of East Anglia (co-supervisors Professor
Claire Reeves and Dr. Alba Badia).

You will be working on a cutting edge, multi-disciplinary scientific topic,
with research focus on polar boundary layer chemistry modelling, using a high
resolution numerical model. The position is open to candidates with a
background in physics, applied mathematics, chemistry, computing, geography,
environmental or Earth science. The deadline for receiving applications is the
8th of January 2018.

For more information please contact Dr. Xin Yang (xinyang55@bas.ac.uk) and/or
Professor Claire Reeves (C.Reeves@uea.ac.uk)
