modeler now open in scenic inland northwest

Help shape the direction of one of the world's newest and most ambitious
climate modeling enterprises! At the Pacific Northwest National
Laboratory, the Atmospheric Sciences and Global Change Division

that covers a vast breadth and depth of climate and global change research.

There is currently an opening for a mid- to senior-career scientist with
extensive climate modeling expertise and experience. As a leader of the
PNNL ASGC team, you'll build your career, your contacts, and your
research portfolio with the assistance of professional support staff,
encouraging and flexible management, and a robust portfolio of climate
modeling projects and opportunities.

Channel your passion for climate science into projects sponsored by the
U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science, including the Energy
Exascale Earth System Model (E3SM), and lead or support strategic
planning of new programs. Leverage your superior communications and
collaboration skills as you interface with program managers and expand
and leverage relationships with regional, national and international
scientific institutions.
