The Dept. of Geography and Environmental Development at Ben Gurion
University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, Israel, is seeking applications
for a Post-doc or programmer position in climate modeling and
regional-scale dust load forecasting using the Advanced Research WRF Model.

The research work will be embedded within a study funded by the EU LIFE-
MEDEA project which will look at correlations between regional scale
dust-load and urban-scale PM10 concentrations (for dust-storm episodes).

We are looking for a Post-doc or programmer with strong interest in
climate, spatial analysis and modelling with solid numerical (Python,R)
and WRF modelling skills. Applicants should have a Master/PhD in
Geography, Environmental/Climate Sciences, or similar disciplines.
Curiosity, enthusiasm, excellent writing and communication skills in
English are also essential.

The scholarship will be awarded according to Ben-Gurion University
guidelines.

Applications should be in the form of a single pdf file and include a
CV, a statement of research experience and interests (max. 2 pages), an
academic transcript of your studies, a web link to the previous research
products and the names and addresses of at least 2 references.
