We are looking for a vibrant and dynamic Research Officer to join the Flight
Research Laboratory (FRL) within the Aerospace Portfolio. The Research Officer
would be someone who shares our core values of impact, accountability,
leadership, integrity and collaboration.

The Aerospace Portfolio has world class wind tunnel and aircraft facilities
used for diverse research applications including aircraft icing. The aircraft
icing research focus at NRC include development of in-situ sensors and
algorithms for detection and avoidance of icing environments. In addition, the
research facilities are used for characterization of cloud and precipitation
systems as well as validation of space and ground-based measurements. Due to
Canada’s diverse environmental conditions spanning from mid-latitude to Arctic
and our unique facilities and expertise in airborne research, we work with
diverse international partners from industry, regulatory agencies and other
government research agencies.
