An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Environmental Scientist to work on Climate Change and infectious disease at Public Health England, within the Climate Change group based at Harwell, Oxfordshire.

 

The job is initially until April 2019, with possibility of extension of 1 year beyond that. It would suit someone who has R programming skills or experience of GIS/spatial techniques or mathematical/statistical modelling. The role involves investigating the relationship between weather and climate variables and diseases such as campylobacter and Lyme disease.

Salary: £36,422 - £44,019 per annum (pro rata)
