PhD position at the University of Bremen (Germany):

Measurements of atmospheric trace gases using ground-based solar absorption FTIR spectroscopy in the tropics and the Arctic and their interpretation
Solar absorption FTIR measurements provide a mean to infer the concentration of numerous trace gases in the atmosphere. The FTIR group at the University of Bremen operates several FTIR instruments worldwide. In this position, time series of ground-based solar absorption measurements will be compared with satellite retrievals and atmospheric models will be used for the interpretation of the observed variabilities.
