Local Weather Consultant Meteorologist (NZ/AU)

MetService is New Zealand’s weather authority, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 
MetService and MetraWeather, our international arm, are global leaders in the 
provision of weather intelligence that adds value to a variety of businesses 
around the world based on a range of unique specialised products and services.

We have a unique opportunity for a Meteorologist to join our Auckland based 
Consulting team providing credible and trustworthy forecasting advice to the 
public and various commercial clients.

As a Local Weather Consultant Meteorologist, you’ll have the opportunity to 
combine passion for weather and its impact on customers. You’ll also need to 
have the appropriate qualifications and experience to support that passion.

Key to this role is the ability to communicate well, be adaptable and 
collaborative in your approach, and to be resilient under pressure.

Occasional travel will be required as this role collaborates closely with our 
consulting team in Australia and our meteorologists’ in Wellington.
