Monash University in Melbourne, Australia is advertising for a 2-year lectureship in climate science/palaeoclimate in the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment, Faculty of Science.

The new appointee, at the Lecturer B Level, will be expected to teach into climatology subjects in the Climate Science, Environmental Earth Sciences and Geographical Sciences teaching streams of the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment, and to develop research linkages across the School. Teaching duties will include the development and implementation of two 3rd year units on paleoclimatology and future climate projections and impacts.  

Research activity in an area of climate science or paleoclimatology (Quaternary specialist) is also required.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible-working arrangements may be negotiated.
