Applications are invited for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position in the
Climate Change Research Centre (CCRC) at the University of New South
Wales in Sydney, Australia. UNSW Sydney is one of the Asia-Pacific’s
leading research intensive Universities. We seek outstanding candidates
working in atmospheric dynamics (broadly defined) including the study of
atmospheric phenomena on a variety of length scales of relevance to
weather, present or past climate, the atmospheric general circulation,
or boundary-layer interactions with the oceans or land surfaces. The
incumbent will be expected to build a research program in his or her
area of expertise and contribute to the academic excellence of the CCRC
by conducting research, teaching, research supervision and
administration. This is a convertible (tenure-track equivalent)
position, with five-year initial appointment, and conversion based on
superior performance. Position is full-time with the possibility of a
family-friendly part time arrangement.
