Postdoctoral opportunity in Regional Land-Ecosystem-Climate Interaction 
Modelling [Yonsei Univ, Seoul, Korea]

A postdoctoral opportunity is available in the hydrology and eco-climate lab, 
Dep. of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Yonsei Univ, Seoul, South Korea 
(http://hecl.yonsei.ac.kr). We seek a recent PhD to participate in projects to 
understand the land-ecosystem-climate processes in the regions such as the East 
Asia and the Arctic (e.g., to better understand the drought processes in East 
Asia with using the regional-scale models and remotely-sensed data).

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in hydrology, atmospheric science, 
geography, or related disciplines by the time of starting the position. The 
applicants should be able to demonstrate experience and proficiency in  land 
surface modelling and/or data assimilation techniques.

The position is available immediately. The appointment is full-time for one 
year and may be renewed for up to three years (two additional years) upon
