Forwarded from CLIMLIST... A Postdoctoral researcher position is available in the department of Geography and Atmospheric Science at the University of Kansas. The position will involve research, publication, and presentation of research related to land cover and climate change in the central U.S. In particular, analysis of eddy covariance and remotely sensed data will be used to examine the water and carbon cycling in the region including: grassland, woody encroachment and perennial agricultural systems. May travel to various sites within a specified geographical area. The position is available starting August 10, 2016. Required qualifications include a Ph.D or ABD in Geography, Atmospheric Science or related discipline, demonstrated experience with remote sensing data analysis as evidenced by application materials and demonstrated experience with eddy covariance data analysis as evidenced by application materials.
