Imperial College London
Salary: £33,860 - £42,830 per annum
Fixed Term: up to 24 months – full time
The Grantham Institute and Space and Atmospheric Physics Group are seeking a talented and highly qualified research associate to work on a 2-yr fixed-term research project supported by the Natural Environment Research Council. The project, in association with the University of Oxford Atmospheric, Oceanic and Planetary Physics Group, will involve the analysis of observational datasets, and employ a range of climate models, to investigate radiative and dynamical mechanisms for the influence of stratospheric variability on the Earth’s weather and climate. A particular focus will be on decadal-scale variability associated with the 11-year cycle in the Sun’s irradiance.
