Three Research Associate Positions in Satellite Earth Observation and/or Laboratory and Field Measurement of Vegetation Fires and Smoke Emissions. 

Three positions are offered based at King's College London in the "Wildfire" Research Team of Professor Martin Wooster, focused on the analysis of biomass burning from Earth Observation satellites, as well as from ground-based instruments such as FTIR spectrometers and particulate measuring devices. Whilst based at King’s, the appointees will also be affiliated the NERC National Centre for Earth Observation (

One post will be dedicated to supporting development of the Global Fire Assimilation System (GFAS) that operates as part of the operational Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service.  Further details of each position and the requirements for applicants can be found in the "Job Packs" accessible from the links below.
