Dear Met-jobs members

Applications are invited for a fully funded PhD Studentship linked to the
National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS) Doctoral Training initiative.
Specifically, the student working on this project will develop a low-cost,
high-resolution, adaptive air quality network for health analyses. This project
draws on our research expertise at Brunel on atmospheric science, Big Data
analyses and environmental monitoring.

The studentship is for UK residents only and includes tuition fees and a
tax-free stipend (£14,384 per year) for 3.5 years. We would like the student to
start at Brunel in October 2016.

Within the NCAS Doctoral Training initiative, the student will receive focussed
training via summer schools and short courses. This is on top of the specific
project supervision and training from Brunel. The student will also engage with
the NERC London Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) training scheme for
relevant topics.
