EWC Weather Consult offers a broad range of forecast products especially
in the field of renewable energies. You will be part of an
inter-disciplinary team being responsible for improving existing tools
as well as for cutting-edge developments. Your work will be driven by
research questions and the requirements and needs of our customers and
partners. Your experience and your skills will play a key role in
defining the future design of our forecast products. A strong focus will
be put on the optimisation of forecast methods by using heterogeneous
observations in statistical methods and probabilistic forecasting.

You already have a deep understanding of scientific data sets and their
use in operational environments. Detailed knowledge of an object
oriented programming language (Python, C++, etc.) is mandatory as well
as a strong background in either optimisation methods or probabilistic
forecasting. First experiences in leading small teams is a plus. Fluency
in English and German is necessary.
